My Art 2 class is doing watercolor. I decided to paint a Tiger Lilly. I added leaves so you can see contrast in my colors. My flower is going to be pink and white. I chose this because even though I personally don't like real flowers, my favorite is a Tiger Lilly. As you can see I am just beginning my painting by starting with the background. My background is a purple wash. A wash is the first box on the 11th picture. Then my paints were too dark, so, there are a few spots where I have to add less detail. The lighter spots will need a little more as I go on because I happen to like the darkness of the purple and my leaves will have more detail to make them look realistic.
I am doing a tiger lily inspired project that has my name. I am going to put gold tacks covering each letter and I am going to add more tiger lilies.
I did a plaster abstract piece that symbolizes frustration. I had a ton of this while doing this block. Every chunk symbolizes the frustration that goes through people.
I am doing something that goes along with autism. that they are misunderstood and "broken"
I did a simple print that I put an ombre affect with different colors
I thought I did very well on this compared to my first portrat.
